Attaching fan to motor

Featured Replies

The radiator fan on my 1999 Feicia 1.3 (non AC) is fine but with it becoming harder to get spare parts I took the chance of buying a "new old stock" fan motor to keep as a spare.

I noticed  however that the aftermarket spares that are available come complete with fan attached to motor.

So the question is, if I ever need to use this motor will it be easy to remove the fan from the old motor and attach to the new or will I meet problems.

thats good to know it looks like it is just an interference fit on the splines so possibly stuck on!
