Hi all. 
I have searched the forums but not found anything. Do you have any ideas?

 

R wiper works fine. 
It always parks a little above the horizontal. 
 

But… every time the ignition is turned on, it wipes. 
 

Is it likely a wiring fault or wiper motor fault? Etc?

Ps. It’s a 2012 4x4 Elegance. 

 as a first eliminator (but depends on your maxidot options)

Activate/Deactivate rear window wiping

(see what happens then)

 

and this one is a bit left field..

Manual page 71   The rear window is wiped once automatically if the windscreen wipers are on when reverse gear is selected

   (maybe this happens if the windscreen wiper controls are set to 'Automatic' and you start the car to reverse down your driveway?)

You have inadvertently knocked the stalk switch to the forward position?

 

Happens frequently on mine, I think its a warning and my first reaction is always to return it to the off position.

No. The stalk is definitely off.
