Air con

Featured Replies

did a regas it's registering as normal now from empty.but it's still blowing same temp as normal Air.

Can hear a change in sound when I push aircon button and more Air but not cold.any help appreciated

The compressor is permanently engaged so it shouldn't make a noise and the volume of air running over the evaporator also doesn't change so not sure what you're feeling except placebo maybe.

Did you test for leaks before filling the system?

A scan of the HVAC module might provide clues.

Who did a regas? How and for what reason?

Have a look at the wiring near the starter motor, same happened to mine and I thought it had lost it’s gas,but when the aircon man connected his kit to the car it started working.
It was corroded wiring next to/ below the starter motor.I simply bypassed the connector block and soldered them together.Worst bit is you have to remove the under-tray to access the wiring connectors.
