Citigo aircon direction knob is not working. Always blowing in the face

This knob on the right to redirect to wind screen and foot well is not working. Always directing air at face level.

also is there a way to check if the demister button is working?

I believe the demister is only for the rear isn’t it? I ask because the button lights up with no effect. Also the rear windscreen liquid is not coming out. Hearing motor sound though.

Moved the topic for you to the citigo area.

the heater controls I can’t help with.

the rear wash, assuming there is fluid and you can hear the motor as mentioned. See if any fluids on a dry day appear.

if you use strong screenwash you might be able to smell it if leaking internally. It’s possible the pipe has either become blocked, or disconnected. In other models they can and do come off in the weirdest of places. If it has come off that fluid will be going somewhere. Good luck. Might be good to have a friend in stalk duty, or a stick given how compact the car is ;)

It was a pain to get to but I fixed it.

a physical rod connected from the knob to the actuator which turn the air flow up down and face.

pretty simple and manual system E6CA029A-5BDE-439B-BC05-6252E40D7E67.thumb.jpeg.09bbb9925e6f3d1c537ea7c972419c5c.jpeg, looks like to got knocked out by the previous owner trying to change the radio system.

Leaking from the windscreen washer reservoir / pump / pipe then.

Behind the N-S-F inner wheel arch liner.

Take N-S-F wheel off first.

Thanks. AG Falco

Take the wheel off? Whoa.
I need a torque wrench to put it back. 110 Nm isn’t it?

I have the locknut, and factory jack on the spare wheel.

I will try asking around if anyone can lend me a wrench. Thanks.

In principle yes, but the wheel nut spanner in the boot should be sized to give you an acceptable approximation to the required torque.
