Could anybody help me please.I have octavia sdi and i am having problems with my indicator stalk.I don,t know how to remove the stalk.

To remove the stalk you need to remove the cowling round the steering column. However to remove this is quiet tricky as you have to remove the Steering Wheel to get them removed.

Briefly, you need to do the following:

Unclip the air bag from the steering wheel

Remove the bolt from the center of the slpined shaft

Remove the steering wheel and airbag assembly

Unscrew the 4 screws that retain the cowling

Unscrew the clamp

Slide the stalk off the shaft.
