Matrix LED dipped beams too low

Featured Replies

Which screws do I need to turn to lift the dipped beam up a little?

Skoda have been conservative with the height setting as usual, at motorway speeds my fancy headlights were shining a mere 2 car lengths ahead.

Im assuming with the adaptive function it is similar to the old xenon types where I need to turn off the adaptive part before doing so.

Disclaimer, I will check with my friends garage that they are still within spec (when I get chance) and will be hyper aware of oncoming people flashing me if they are still too high and will back them off accordingly.

Don't they lift at speed?   If they're that low at speed, what are they like around town?

Hard to say as at town speeds there are usually street lights, I even tried some ‘european’ speeds on the motorway and they didn't go any further in case it was a kph coding issue

Light switch in the auto position, and appropriate options ticked in the lighting menu.

Nothing wrong with the function of them. Just need to bring the beam level up slightly.
