I tried going to 0324 but i got a message on my dash saying - release conflict installed release is not supported - MOI3_EU_SKMQB_P32400P

Hi, you can try wih the 308 version from the MOI3 - MIB Solution (guest:guest). However, I haven't used it as I have Bolero (MEN3) infotainment . I've succesfully applied the MEN3_EU_SK370_P2345L_1790 version to my car.

 

 

Wouldn’t i need to do 0306 1st

 

and can I ask how long it takes the update to install?

It took around 45 mintues for Bolero firmware. I've parked the car outside, since it's in my garage, turn the engine on and waited until update is done.

I’ve done the update this morning to 0324

 

took around 20 mins for 0308 and 15-20 mins 0324 

 

all working ok for me - I did use a fast usb 3.2 memory stick

1/. How do you check what version your'e running ?

2/. Where do you check to see what is the latest version.

Below, on the link you can see how it's done on Bolero (MEN3) MMI and from the manu you can find out what is your current version. Maybe it works also for the Amudsen, but I dunno.

Regarding the newest availalbe version one I used OBD11, although many people online said it isn't so accurate and reliable. From my amateur experience isn't 100% up-to-date, but sufficent for my needs.

ODB11 shows you the current and the newest available version for all modules in your car. For the 5F module, i.e., multimedia it shows 1790, the version which I use, where acutally there is also a 1798 version available (shared by members of this portal).

Previously I've had 3 different Seats since 2012,  very similar systems, although all with built in SD cards,  quickly learnt how to update maps etc via help from forums, so will have a go and report back how it goes mate.

 

Also have an Obdeleven Pro if needed.

It seems you have Amundsen and there is a newer version on mib-solutions MOI3_EU_SKMQB_P32400P_0324 and you can review the discussion in the thread. 
As I don't have Amundsen, I can't guarantee anything!

What is the latest version I can update to? And where can I download it from?

Currently I have SW 0324. I have new soft 0330 on usb stick but I have one question if update of new soft do not break some coding functions on my kamiq? thx.
