2016 vrs tdi has developt a loud clunk under acceleration from offside

There could be various things and if you have not already got around to doing visual checks with wheel on and off the ground then wheel off you had best go see a mechanic and find out just what it might be.

Suspension,  brakes, engine mounts or what ever.  Don't put off finding out it might be minor it might not.
