USB C, wireless charging, wireless Android Auto

Featured Replies

Re-posted here from the Karoq forum to see if I can call on experience from owners of other models...

Our 70-plate Karoq Sportline has wireless phone charging and USB C ports in the centre concole ahead of the gear lever. Very handy and an excellent step on from the single, old style USB port in my opinion.

However I'm trying to unravel which infotainment unit we have (MIB3?) and, importantly, if this indicates that we should also have wireless Android Auto capability?

The numerous different options around infotainment don't appear to make clear what spec and functionality should be available, and all seems to vary by build date, factory options etc.

Any help or experience from others would be fantastic.

Thanks in advance,

Simon

If you have the USB-C ports then you have the MIB3 infotainment system.

My MY21 Sportline (registered November 2020) has wireless Bluetooth for my Android phones, (old Galaxy S8 and new Galaxy S23) although I don't use Android Auto itself.
