Small mods to alter the sound of the car?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone has changed anything on the MK3 Octy vRS to make it sound a little beefier, not looking to get a full exhaust system, just perhaps changing an air filter or something along those lines

Thanks!

@vRSRutty are you still looking for something? I bought some Racingline intake bits and turbo muffler delete on here that should make a bit better intake sound. Panel filter, intake hose and intake elbow are all simple and smooth the airflow, the turbo muffler delete is designed to do that also. Bought them in prep for warranty expiring…and completely overlooked that I bought bits for a Gen3 engine and I have a Gen4 so some different infrastructure design and these bits won’t fit 🤦🏻‍♂️

Send me a message if you want to know more.

I have been out of touch on EA888 development and nothing about the Gen 4 engine, so that would have caught me out too.

It sounds like an interesting iteration.
