The Octavia MK4 doesn't come with 19" Xtreme rims. The 19" Xtreme rims were fitted to the Octavia MK3 and had a specification of 7.5Jx19 ET51 5/112 57.1.

Do you mean Altair rims? These have a specification of 7.5Jx19 ET48 5/112 57.1 and come in at least three colours, silver, black, and anthracite.

The OEM part number is cast into the back of the rim.

Altair 7.5Jx19 ET48 5/112 57.1 alloy rim SILVER

Alu kolo Altair 19" Octavia IV

Altair 7.5Jx19 ET48 5/112 57.1 alloy rim BLACK

Alu kolo Altair 19" Octavia IV

Altair 7.5Jx19 ET48 5/112 57.1 alloy rim ANTHRACITE

Alu kolo Altair 19" Octavia IV

Thanks heaps Carlston!

Related question- whats the smallest wheel size that can be used on a vRS TDI Mkiv? Ive one on order for January delivery and am pondering if I should get winter wheels and tyres for it. I see they come with 18's in other markets but would the 17in wheels fit too?

The Octavia MK4 2.0TDI VRS 200HP comes with 312x25mm front brake discs so the minimum rim size is 16".

The Octavia MK4 2.0TSI VRS 245HP comes with 340x25mm front brake discs so the minimum rim size is 17".

17 is very tight on the front and might knock off the balance weights. 18 is better

17" is a Skoda approved rim size on all cars with the big 340x25mm front brakes. There aren't any VAG Skodas that can't use 17" rims. Check the car's Certificate of Conformity. All the Skoda approved tyre and rim sizes are listed on that. If you really did need 18" rims, you wouldn't be able to use snow chains and Skoda don't sell cars that can't be fitted with snow chains. Bear in mind that snow chains are sometimes compulsory in some parts of Europe. Check the owner's manual as the tyre and rim sizes that are Skoda approved for the use of snow chains are listed in that.

Will the Altair 19” rims fit „older” Octavia 3 FL (not vRS, standard 1.5 TSI)? I believe they would need to be paired with 225/35 R19 tires for the older Octavia as older Extreme 19” rims were supposed to be used with 225/35 tires. Will this combo work?

I kinda like the full silver look of Altairs and I’m looking for a set of bling wheels for summer for my Octavia 3 (also in silver colour so they would complement each other). Silver Extremes would be nice too but are very hard to come by - most are either black or anthracite - and I don’t really like the look and think they wouldn’t suit the car.

Sooo…can Altairs be used with 225/35 tires and would they fit Octavia 3? I believe they should but cant find a picture anywhere - of Octavia 3 with them or even Altairs with 225/35 tires (all I can find is 225/40 of the current Octavia 4)
