Hi, headlights suddenly stopped working. Checked bulbs, checked all fuses. Any ideas on what to check next?

First you need to check if you have power to the black push on connector as in the past have come across quote bulbs are ok when they have not been, sometimes there can be a broken earth connection so you need to chech both sides, if you have the three pin connector this has the earth on top but the 2 pin connector has the earth on one side if no power here the next might be the fuse then the stalk you will need a meter for this I have known the earth to the coloum be bad also

Both bulbs fine, and the connectors  and fuses ok too.  Can only find 3 relays - they are on the drivers side, none on passenger side. About to find the earth dtrap and remove sand and replace. 

 

Should have said this earlier.....it is only the dipped beam which is not working... the main beam and side lights are working fine. So without a wiring diagram I am searching for relays and thinking of the stalk being faulty. 

Suspect the dip/main beam/indicator switch is the problem.

Great minds think alike! I am beginning to suspect the switch is at fault.  Having difficulty getting the column and panels off to find the relays just in case clever these Skoda people making the dash seamless. Will let you know,
