Hello, 

I am the second owner of the Superb L&K and upon closer inspection the power socket in the back is broken. The USB charger (in the back) works fine though

My wife tried plugging in her laptop but the socket itself seems (from behind the outlet)  to have fallen down inside the console.

I will take it to the local car electrician but I want to know if this kind of repair is viable. Did anyone else have this issue?

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to repair it, if you can take the panel cover off to understand how the socket fixes to the back of the panel.

The question will be, is something broken (eg. Due to excessive force on the socket) the fixings as broken or if it was just incorrectly fitted in the first place & can be clicked back into place
