System changing songs and radio stations due to start-stop system'

Featured Replies

Hi mates

I've got a 2017 Octavia 1.0 with the H30 infotainment system, 0359 version. It's been almost a month since I faced the fol problem :

Sometimes, when I hear a song or listen to a radio station and I 'm stopped at the traffic lights, as soon as the engine starts again the system changes the song or the station and goes to the next one!

This doesn't happen regularly. I'm not 100% sure but it seems the longest the time the engine is stopped, the more likely this will happen.

I asked the service but they seemed to be unaware of this situation.

Any other having faced this?

Thanks in advance!

on my previous ŠS Mk3 2016.

stations were switching during first ~15min at cold mornings,

several service visits with head unit reflashing finished by Columbus display replace

Start-Stop switched MaxiDot.

dealer replaced Right buttons on steering wheel

also by two attempts, at first were installed with View button instead Phone

Thanks for your time mate! It seems something strange is going on with the start-stop system and the audio-visual systems of the cars.

  • 1 month later...
