Optical parking system

Featured Replies

In my superb the rear brakes were fixed. After that OPS was not available. Same time came the warning of a broken lamp. There was not broken lamps. Additionally the blinker sound became faster, just like a lamp would be broken. No sound in any rear sensor.

What is wrong?

Optical?

I thought it was ultrasonic detection.

Are you talking about a reversing camera?

Screen says: "The optical parking system is not currently available"

OK, I'm certainly not up to date on modern vehicle "assistance" systems, does your vehicle have that self parking function?

That no doubt uses optical sensors.

No I have not. Only 4 sensors backwards.

It's called "optical" because it comes up on the head unit as a picture with lines.

Self parking still uses ultrasonic sensors.

@hoffren you need a scan by VAS or VCDS to get more information.  But it sounds like you may have a cabling problem if you're getting bulb out messages with no bulb failures.

You need to scan your car with vcds, obd 11 or similar iot get more info.
