Eibach Pro springs, correct part number but label says 5j not nj

Featured Replies

Hi all,

So I've just received my Eibach Pro springs. However, the box has the right part number on, which was correct on all the stock websites and on the eibach website. However, the box says 5j not nj on it aswell.

The part number on each of the springs is correct aswell and matches what it says I should get on Eibachs website etc.

Has anyone else had this issue? Is it just a typo? 20231203_181506.thumb.jpg.194d1998417317308e4acc27c538c0b3.jpg

Cheers

If I was uncertain I'd check with the supplier or better still Eibach as I've known suppliers completely balls-up and deny it (and not update their website errors).

The front and rear springs that come in the E10-81-010-05-22 kit do appear to be correct for the Fabia MK3 1.2TSI.

It appears that Eibach has made a mistake by listing the Fabia 5J (MK2), as that car uses different springs to what's in this kit.

The Eibach spring catalogue (on ebay.de) shows that the E10-81-010-05-22 kit comprises F11-81-010-05-VA front springs and F11-81-010-04-HA rear springs.

Good point, all databases have errors and omissions and even if suppliers or manufacturers are told about errors on their databases or websites it can take them a very long time to correct them, often not until a major change/update of catalogue or website, if they bother at all.

Got them fitted now, no problems at all so clearly the correct part!
