Whilst idly switching between dash displays (long wait at level crossing), I wondered what the kW gauge is for. A bar moves across as revs increase.

kW is the computer calculated level of how much power the engine is producing.

Nothing to do with the electricity you’re using by leaving the heating on whilst you’re out then 😏
