Hi All.

Got my app activated and ID confirmed by dealer but option not working. I am getting message as per photo. Any idea what's wrong and if this can be fixed?

Other features work from app. Can upload map, check status.

Tried reinstal, updates done.

Any ideas welcome.

Sorry can't help except to say that this does work on my 2023 L&K 280 Superb so it is not a design issue. I think it is something that would have to be fixed by a dealer.

I think I will have to try factory reset and start all over before I go to dealer .

 

I also have a problem with wireless android auto that does not connect or connect for few seconds and disconnect. My phone works fine with wife enyaq so my mobile is not a problem.

The spec that I have seen for Superb 2023 says wireless smartlink for iOS only, not for android (for android you have to plug it in).

It is not smart link but android auto and it clearly connects with android. I managed to connect 2-3 times and use wirelessly. Problem is that it does connect and disconnects after few seconds. There is some bug that interrupts connection. Its not my phone as it works perfectly with Enyaq. 

What is your software version of the MIB unit?

Can confirm that wireless android auto is available in my Superb.

I had similar connection problems with my android phone and Bluetooth audio.

 

After deleting my phone from the car and connection from my phone it eventually worked after 2 or 3 attempts.

 

It also took me several attempts to pair the phone and headunit for wireless android auto.

My phone was saying accept the connection in your car but there was no message on the display.

After a few ignition off on off on it eventually came up

Wireless android auto is available in my car. My phone connects to car via wireless when I get to the car, works for few seconds then disconnects itself. If I try reconnect it shows "unable to connect ".

 

I have to reset infotainment to reconnect but again for few seconds only.

 

I will check software version and post. Also will try to factory reset. 

 

Another problem I noted is remote lock/unlock via app. App activated at the dealer and function available in app but not working.

As attached. I have since factory reset and now have massive problems to become primary user again. Frustrated after 2 hours trying. Skoda on technology side became nothibut disappointment. I think visit to dealr is just a matter of time but reading some comments I don't have big hopes. I should have put my money in other brand this time. Wife's Enyaq was a warning ⚠️  but having good experience with previous superb I wanted elan upgrade. Skoda wants to make fancy cars at the cost of everything that was good about Skoda in the past.

Are you sure you are in a place with a good signal coverage?

I even drove half mile to check that. Car managed to synchronise user but 2 hours trying and I couldn't become primary user. Every time it was some other message. Time out, unavailable, keys or simply it was not going into this mode.

Something is seriously not right but I don't think it's the connection. Similarly I had a problem with locking/unlocking (initial problem) when I was primary user. The same TIME OUT message was showing on app. Trying to fix it I thought factory reset will help but now its even worse. 

Very strange and inconsistent. 

 

Factory reset possibly resolved my android auto wireless connection problem but time will show. To early to confirm. I'll update in few days/weeks once I use it for some time.
