1.4 L&K spare alloys

Featured Replies

I'm looking for a spare set of oem Origami L&K Alloys but can't seem to find anyone who sells these, cant even gind the part number.

The ones on Ebay are a bit battered, and not sure if they would be worth getting restored.

Any advice appreciated.

Many thanks, unfortunately not the L&K variant which is part number 5L0601025QFL8

Otherwise would have been ideal!

The Skoda parts catalogue shows that the Origami comes in three versions as shown below. Make sure any seller gives you the OEM part number because there are two versions of the black metallic Origami alloy rims.

£2,200 will be from the expensive factory catalogue.

Skoda also do an alloy rim accessory catalogue, which tend to cost about 40% of the typical factory price...so a massive 60% saving...or put another way the factory rims cost about two and a half times the price of the accessory price.

So you can get a set of four new 7Jx17 ET45 5/112 57.1 alloy rims for about £720 to £760...at least in the two examples below.

In the below two examples, the xxx071xxx format means that its from the much cheaper accessory catalogue. Skoda are using their accessory catalogue to compete on price with aftermarket alloy rims.

Although the below alloy rims are listed for the Karoq, they are the same 7Jx17 ET45 5/112 57.1 specification as the 17" Yeti rims. The Karoq 2x4 fits 215/55R17 to these rim, and the Karoq 4x4 fits 225/55R17 to these rim. So the Yeti's 225/50R17 is different, but that isn't a problem.

7Jx17 ET45 5/112 57.1 alloy rim 57A071497C 8Z8 (5199CZK is about £180 each)

7Jx17 ET45 5/112 57.1 alloy rim 57A071497D FL8 (5459CZK is about £190 each)

Alu kolo Ratikon 17" Karoq

For even bigger savings, you could use a non-standard 17" steel rim from the Kodiaq...perhaps together with a non-standard 215/55R17 tyre size. You might choose this option if you want to run 215/55R17 tyres rather than the standard 225/50R17 on the Yeti.

6.5Jx17 ET38 5/112 57.1 steel rim (from Kodiaq) (£53.98 each)

Thanks so much for this information, and good to know about the accessories catalogue.

Can't believe the price difference between the one i have 5L0601025SFL8 and the other ones.

Keen to try and source an exact match if I can get them a bit more reasonably priced, is it only main dealers that sell these or can they be located through other supply chains?

Worst case will compromise and get one of the above
