Chrome Bumper Trims?

Hi all, I am toying with the idea of painting my rubstrips and adding a chrome trim, aiming for an effect like the 2nd picture below. Has anybody done or seen this before and please post pictures. I like the idea in theory but feel it could look tacky.

I'm also considering blacking out the b-pillar and possibly adding a chrome surround to the windows.

I have a 2024 Octavia Vrs diesel. Last year I was in France approaching one of the free ferries over the river Seine, downstream of Rouen. I took a wrong turn and had to reverse, then go slowly forward to get to the correct lane. At only about 2 or 3 mph the car came to a sudden violent stop accompanied by a bang. I’ve seen two cars on Autotrader, both 2018 and the technical and details in the ads suggest one is 227 BHP and the other is 242. Both appear to be the facelift variant, based on the split front headlights. Is there any other way of confirming the engine BHP apart from relying on the advert contents? Thanks

Hi, I have a new Skoda Superb Mk4 (2026, MIB4 infotainment, software version 2768). Today, the car went offline in MySkoda, and the globe icon in the infotainment turned grey. Important detail: The car is usually parked in underground level -2 parking, where the mobile signal is extremely weak or nonexistent.
