Keyless fault

Hi there I am getting this fault showing up,see photo, I can only unlock the doors by using the buttons on the keyfob. Car starts ok but the said warning comes up, when I press the lock button on the keyfob it goes away

for a while until a door is opened or engine switched off and then restarted. 

My car is a Superb estate L&K 4x4 2017

Anybody know how to remedy this issue.

It will need scanning for faults, could be anything from an antenna, door latch, door handle, key fault.

 

Only way to know is to plug it in sorry

Did you try a second different key, does it exhibit same issue?

Yes same issue with all the keys

ApertureS is right, time get it scanned for codes and hopefully you'll get a good lead as to what the issue is.

If you don't have one, maybe consider getting a HEX -V2 or-NET device and get associated VCDS installed, great for diagnosing issues and also for lots of other maintenance jobs and other tweaks too.

I had the same issue with my 2017 Passat. No fault codes either. Disconnecting the battery and reconnecting would cure it for a day or so.  The fault has now disappeared and hasn’t returned, strange.
