Spoiler on upside down!

Featured Replies

Imagine , if you will , a corsa.

It probably started life as a fairly plain shopping car.

Then one day a spotty little oik bought it and started adding all sorts of fibreglass tat to it.

Imagine my amusement when I saw the huge escort cosworth sized spoiler attached just above the rear window that on closer inspection was on upside down.

I'm sure that would have made the handing "interesting" at any sort of speed.

Oh , and it looks like he wouldn't have been able to open the boot fully either. :P

So sorry I didn't have any way of taking a picture.

Perhaps he wanted the spoiler to look good when the car was upside down in a ditch:rolleyes:

Well clearly basic aerodynamics were beyond his comprehension :D

He probably thought he was being different without stopping to think *why* they all curve that way

Gotta love it

Is there a corsa forum?

He's probably on there bragging about how it makes his car lighter and therefore faster

Surprised no-one suggested folding it flat so it goes faster :P

And how he can jam a pair of fidelity hi-fi speakers under his spoiler that make great subs:rolleyes:

As if a little Corsa is going to go fast enough for aerodynamic aids to have any effect!!!!!

Erm, it may go fast as it will create lift, therby reducing rolling friction ;)

Thinking a nice little bit of aerofoil action could lift the rear wheels of his car sufficiently such that there is reduced grip and so that it looks the right way up when planted in a ditch :)

And its an ingenius way of reducing the car's weight ;)

I think I'd prefer some grip
