I got a 2018 L&K Tdi superb last year. A few days back the Driver Back stopped blowing air, the seat bottom does blow fine, took it to the stealership and it shows up on the scan as well , They now tell me the Fan alone is not available as a separate item and the whole seat needs a replacement. Any help with the part numbers ? Someone has taken it apart ? is it a serviceable thing or they are right the whole seat needs to be changed ?

 

I am in INDIA its really really hot and the ventilated seat feels like heaven.

Hilarious. And they wonder why more and more customers lose trust in the dealer network. I guess you need a new engine when a water pump fails too… 🙄

Water pump is new car, it’s a slightly grubby oil filler cap which needs new engine.

I bet that’s a pain to replace though, or is it attached under the base with vent pipes?

Complete seat out and base part or fully dismantled I’d’ve thought. 

Hello! I have a Skoda Superb from 2018, and the ventilation in the back of the driver's seat no longer works, the passenger's seat works perfectly. I get the following error on VCDS:
  1 Fault Found:
657156 - Fan 1 for Left Seat Backrest
           B14C9 31 [00001001] - No Signal
Has anyone changed the seat back fan? On the Internet, I did not find any tutorial or information about the procedure for changing the fan. Thank you!

Just changed mine last week. It's behind top left( rhd driver seat) . Under the foam. 

Few pictures attached. Although I feel it isn't blowing as much air as before.

I had got it done from an upholstery guy. So don't really know but should have been fairly straightforward.
