Hi,

i am trying to identify the rear  springs on a 2016 1.2 110hp dsg.

the dots on the original springs are orange, yellow, orange.

i think the part number is :-6Q0511115K

had a search of the forums but unable to confirm

        TIA

Received, and yes, the part number you quoted is correct and current. A mere £85 + VAT each from Skoda. 😆

The part number should help with finding aftermarket match-ups.

I will look for aftermarket such as Sachs or Bilstein

Bilstein 36-300075 is being sold to replace nine different rear springs, so is unlikely to be an exact match to 6Q0511115K. You could end up with a high rear end and/or rear springs that are too hard.

Sachs 996657 is only being sold to replace 6Q0511115K, so should be an exact match.

There are other springs that are also only being sold to replace 6Q0511115K, including Kilen 63106 and KYB RH6401, so again these should be an exact match.

Bilstein 36-300075 rear spring (who knows what this spring matches, because it's being sold to replace nine different springs)

6Q0511115BG

6Q0511115BH

6Q0511115K

Kilen 63106 rear spring

KYB RH6401 rear spring

Sachs 996657 rear spring

Thanks to all.

got these locally off the shelf

Dingbro Lesjöfors 4285707 £51 for 2

Lesjofors 4285707 are the same as Kilen 63106, and are both made in the same factory in Sweden.

Out of interest, for the future, does your local Dingbro deal with the general public - I've always looked on them as being a "trade only" operation, so never tried buying from them locally?

I've bought Lesjofors springs in the past and consider them to be a "better" quality and exact replacement than some others.

Just found these in my shed. Been waiting for one of the original springs at the back of our 05 Fabia to break for several years since I bought them off ebay. :D

Ah, okay, but good to know that my local parts shop could source them quickly from them - as that time must be getting close for my wife's 2015 VW Polo 1.2TSI !
