Featured Replies

Help please you knowledgeable people

Unhappy Wife - the nav - radio unit in the Yeti has thrown a wobble the screen just sits with a distorted Skoda badge and what ever button you press it don't do anything

I have had it out checked connection's etc with no effect

I guess its died and we need to look for a second hand unit

Anyone advise pls

Cheers Andy

They can be refurbished. Google "columbus  infotainment refurbish". Speak to them and tell them your issue, and get a quote. some just specialise on software updating. I've just sent mine off for £220 and while searching again, while writing this post I've just seen a local company doing the same repair for £120...oops. Good luck.

I got mine done locally from Navitex https://navitex.co.uk They also do it by mail.
Andrei checked it over, updated it and didn't charge me anything. Andrei could have easily said it was faulty and charged for a repair. A real genuine helpful guy. Highly recommended.

My problem is with the Aerial the sat nav thinks it's in Germany. Apparently if water gets in the ariel base it can give that fault. Andre tested it with his bench aerial and it works fine.
My other issue is with the Panasonic EAA083A Amplifier. It got wet, now I need to find someone who can repair that.
