I got round this problem via ebay. I bought a MFD2 Sat Nav unit and a natty little box that sends audio and video to the unit. I still have my CD changer, in dash CD (as long as I am not using the navigation) plus the Sony MP3 player and dvd video (even whilst moving if I wish:finger: ). Total cost inc 2007 TMC disc and dash surround was about

I got this one eBay.co.uk: AV Multimedia Interface Adapter for VW MFD2 RNS2 (item 120060491782 end time 13-Dec-06 15:00:31 GMT) the installation instructions left a bit to be desired but it works ok but because the MFD2 isnt true widescreen it does cut off the ends of the picture, not that it matters much.

Prepping to do 2.0TSi clutch in future - plenty of time and opportunity as I mentioned recently I have a 1.8T L&K Octy also ! I'd seen a comment at some point someone recommending to change rear main seal whilst you are in there. Something to watch for? Also as below

One of the scourges of Greek roads are abandoned motorcycles. Hi! I'm in need of some help please. My Octavia estate sat for 8 months unused. The battery went flat (AGM Varta) and doesn't charge. I got the car started with a different battery and then swapped in the dead battery to see if it would start charging. BUT, now the engine was running I needed to move the car a bit and found that the gear stick won't go into reverse gear. It can select 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th but not reverse. I've ordered up a new AGM battery (due in a couple of days) but this reverse

Hi Everyone, I have been investigating how I can replace the decorative trim pieces on the console of the O4 (see attached picture (version I would like). The easy part has been figuring out the general part numbers, however I get stuck on the specifics. I know the O4 has two technical variants; one with stock leds and one with RGB leds, and that there is a multitude of different codes for all the different colours/textures.
