N75 valve thingy wotsit...!

Featured Replies

Where is it on the mk 1 octy vrs? (pics would help)

My car 'appears' to be boosting erratically. part throttle sees a boost 'surge' and then things calm down a bit. Also part throttle seems to give better response and grunt than full throttle..?

Maf has just been replaced at Jabba and a new Bailey's recirc is waiting at the post office for me to collect. Other than that the car is standard.

.

Any help appreciated.

.

P.S. no codes shown on VAG-COM.

Don't have any pics to hand but the N75 is fitted in the air intake pipe to the turbo, after the MAF just next to the DV,has a two wire plug connected to it and a couple of vacuum pipes attached

Have a look below:

Is it me or is there alot of people experiencing the same problem as me recently.. i think we need a guide on how to diagnose this problem with some possible fault finding!
