VRS seat tablet holder

Featured Replies

I’ve recently just bought a VRS estate 23 plate. Love it. Superb car however I’m struggling to find a tablet holder for the seats? So apologies if this topic already has a thread but can anyone point me in the best direction to get a decent, well tested sturdy one. Thanks.

Which product you suggesting Wanderer? I’ve checked out that link and none look like they would fit in the vrs seat gap to hold a tablet?

I guess you guys haven't heard the big news. A tablet holder is being launched with the facelift. Appears to be the same seats but with the new VRS logo. No part numbers yet.

@aaaaplay any idea when this will be launched or anything please?

That's the forthcoming face-lift, I remember seeing that slot in the current model..

It's launching with the new Kamiq and Scala - so it's available now.

I ordered one yesterday from here: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/266693157359

The part number is 655061128.

I googled the part number and a number site have it, including the Skoda e-Shop: https://eshop.skoda-auto.sk/en_SK/smart-holder---adapter-for-sport-seats/p/655061128

Correction this appears to be for MQB not MQB Evo based Skoda's as the hole in the seat is inverted.

Greeting! I have the same seats and I asked the customer service and I was told it fits all the skoda sports seats. I ordered it and waited for it to arrive.

Mine arrived today... It does not fit.

The packaging says on it for Kamiq and Scala.

You can push it into the hole, but it's not deep enough to secure itself, so it will just fall out.

The other issue is that as mentioned in my previous post, is the smart holder slot is upside down.

In summary don't buy the one on the Kopacek store hoping it to fit an Octavia. There must be a seperate part for us, which Kopacek will probably stock when it becomes available.

@aaaaplay well I got the impatient and ended up ordering one. Only had chance to try it out tonight. You’re right it definitely doesn’t fit the Octavia VRS mk4 seats…..so back to the drawing board. So far I’ve tried 3 different devices. All with no luck.

1. Velcro straps (it did work but annoying having to put the tablet into a Velcro case everytime I wanted to use it)

2. A window sucker that went on the side window. Just fell off 😭.

3. The official Skoda Sports seat device which officially does not fit the sports seats 😂

Anyone else got any ideas? Or someone with a 3D printer want to make me something. I’d be greatly appreciated 😁

An official solution is on the way. We just have to wait until the facelift Octavia launches. Probably a matter of months.

Hi guys!

I thought I would share how I succeeded to transform easily the original smart holder adaptor 3V0061128 for Octavia RS sport seats so that smart holder can be used afterwards.

It is a pity that Skoda still did not release an original accessory for RS owners yet.

If you are in DIY mood, you can do it in 30 minutes, all you need is a saw to cut both ends shorter, a file and some sandpaper.

I advise to draw the cut lines at below dimensions and shape looking at the seat hole shape first and 2-3 mm longer before cut and then file it slowly to shape and dimension testing it periodically until fits perfectly. Finally use sandpaper to make it nice and smooth.

I used successfully before this solution different magnetic holders too, attached with double side adhesive tapes, but this solution has two faces for me because the other side of the adaptor can be used to attach a neck pillow with velcro solution. If someone had ever been looking for a neck pillow for sport seats, knows that is again a headache.

Yes, it seems fits looking at the pictures but still does not refer to Octavia in the description.

I sent an inquiry to Kopacek, so I'm waiting for their reply

Do you have a reply from Kopacek?

I got the same picture as you put but the answer was not specific.
I risked 12€ and ordered an adapter. I'm waiting for it to arrive and Hopefully I'll be lucky this time.
