Planning to buy Skoda Superb 3 - DAB Part

Recommended Posts

Hi there, I ask for some advice, I'm planning to buy a Skoda Superb 3, I tried one of 2021 last saturday.

It's a great car except i'm a bit disappointed about the DAB part.

As I work in the radio broadcasting field, it's necessary for me to have the manual frequency setting on DAB (5A to 13F).

The FM/DAB mode is the only one with DAB ( see picture with Station B ) that removes this ability. I can choose between FM and FM/DAB that's all.
I've seen some other pictures of the same MIB3 (I think) that has FM mode only and DAB mode only (see other pictures from YouTube). I'm hugely interested to have this (manual setting appears, and listing by multiplex is also here).
Do you know how to make appear the DAB mode only, or maybe a setting to put via VCDS ? Is it possible ? Or maybe the pictures from the YouTube video presenting MIB was a MIB2.5 ?
Thanks for your help.

As standard it uses FM/DAB mode so that if using a radio station that is both DAB and FM it can revert to FM if the digital signal is weak.

Cant help with the DAB only bit, but that gives you insight into why it is like it is.
