Last Saturday on starting the car( after 7 days not being used) it seemed sluggish also had a sensation of clutch slip.

Then I noticed an amber lit wording -EPC with an amber car outline with a dial and exclamation symbol.

Took it to my independent garage who said it had 3 fault codes  which I can only remember being low fuel rail pressure well something like that.

He stored the codes then cleared them, I took it for a 4 mile drive with no warning messages showing and car driving as normal, returning to garage.

The mechanic said it might have been the fuel filter slight blockage (original one from new) he recommended changing it in the near future.

Car ran perfect on a 3o mile round trip back home.

And has run fine since.

Anyone had similar issues.

 

   

How old is the car and is the battery original? Depending on age it might be worth changing the battery as it seems to cause all sorts of issues 

The car is 3.5 years old and original battery.
