Columbus Media options missing

Featured Replies

My 2013 estate has a fully functioning radio,  CD and Sat Nav  head unit.

But for some time now the only Media option on the selectors is CD

The others are greyed out, SD Card, HDD, Aux and Bluetooth.

Its a very well speed car so I'm not sure if these were options back when new.

Does anyone have any suggestions to determine the cause or recover.

I've run the VCDS check and no errors show.

Does it mean that previously they were available nad one day the became greyed out?

I have noticed that with my 2012. the hdd and aux is now greyed out where previously was selectable yet the hard drive is functioning as the sat nav works as it should.

Hi

Just got a 2014 superb with the same issue. Was searching on this forum but have since figured it out. My phone was connected for calls but not being recognized for audio media.

While the system was on, I pressed the menu control button on the rhs of the steering wheel and selected phone. Then I pressed the toggle wheel on the rhs which gave me a phone menu. Scrolled down to media player and Bluetooth and connected that way.

Yep, that’s the same experience, never anything wrong with the car, just the user !
