Skoda MK2 vrs Alarm Siren Location

Recommended Posts

Well lads just have the hazard lights going off randomly on my MK2 vrs 2013 when it's parked. Was looking through the forums and people were saying that the battery's in the alarm siren can trigger this alarm. I got a replacement unit but when I look under the driver's side  and passengers wheel arch there is no siren there. For context I have the car two years and have never heard the alarm on the car go off could this be a case that the alarm siren has already been removed from the car. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Did they move it's location then? I replaced mine a few years back and it was at the base of the windscreen beneath the wiper arms and scuttle panel.

^^^ Exactly.

Horns down the front not the alarm siren that show as Service Replacement item at 5 years / 50,000 miles in the Service book.

Plenty still on the go with the original 14 years on.

My crashed / repaired vRS.
