This week's holiday disaster...

A brief resume of this week's issues as I've hinted at in other threads.....

 

2 French car (turned out to be White vans)tailgating me at 12.30 in morning, leaving for ferry, show him the brake lights, car chase, get stopped by them in Vaas, physco bloke lamps me after 10mins of hyper actions (cannabis tattoos), police called, 2 tyres get knifed by 2 others who turn up, car taken away on wrecker, Le Lude police for papers and report of assault,doctors for medical report.. ferry booked for Thursday evening - car now back. Basically an Insurance scam gone slightly wrong for them and us. Car is just metal, us not so, OH is okay just shook up....me, better now, just bruising

Sounds like a nightmare...   But also lucky it wasn't any worse...

Definitely had better times...

 

Still here though as said, OH had strong thoughts on selling up, calmed down though.

We have good French and English neighbours who have helped with the Police and shopping etc and had a visit from someone in the village we don't know to check on us....tom tom drums doing their thing....

This is a proper sleepy rural area and everyone is shocked by it.
