Skoda Rapid Hot Start issue

Featured Replies

I have a Skoda Rapid 1.4 TDI Automatic 2015.

I have been having a very weird problem. The car starts fine from cold but after driving for couple of miles if i stop and start the car, the car intermittently does not start.

Sometime it starts after 2 or 3 tries and sometimes i have to wait 30-45 mins for the car to start again.

There is no error codes from scanning. Sometimes when the issue happens i am only seeing this message on screen "Error Start-Stop Start the Car Manually"
Possible solutions from different mechanics

1) Replace the FlyWheel
2)Replace the Starter Motor

Apart from this issue, the car drives smooth. I was away for a month on holiday and car started right at the 1st even after leaving idle for a month.

Check out the issues with the DQ200 DSG with a word search. Briskoda 'position P, start car manually' or something similar.  Maybe a simply cheap part replacement.  Not the main dealers crazy price quotes to resolve.

@Freedom do you mind pointing me to connect link. I tried searching but not getting the right answer

Maybe not this issue, or just a loose connection or battery terminal then.
