Rear Central Locking Wiring Schematic

Featured Replies

I have an issue with the rear n/s door not locking. Is there a schematic available so I can trace the wiring? What voltages should i see at the door lock module connector?

Thanks,

Matt

as a process of elimination, you would see 12v at one wire on the lock signal and the same on another wire.

if there is no voltages at all, then it's either broken wires in the door loom to the B pillar and OR the lock motor is duff (most likely)

F222 is lock module on rear left door, 223 the other side.

T11 connectors are at B pillars.

Circled numbers 76, 77 go to BCM inputs. All other circled numbers are earth points in looms (splices); or bolted earths to chassis metal.

Look for broken wires or corrosion of connector contacts.

Thanks for that Pete, I can assume that the earth path is fine as the micro switch operates and shows on the dash when the door is open. I have changed the lock module for a used one. The wiring goes straight through the B pillar. There's no connector so it's a pig to bell out, I found the convenience control module. It looks to need half the dash removing.

Surprised by lack of connectors at B pillars. Photo?

I'll take a pic tomorrow, unlike the Mk 1 with a connector it appears to pass straight through a grommet in the pillar.

If you peel the rubber boot back from one or other of those ends, you're going to find a plug/socket connection, I feel.

100% there is connectors at the B pillars. Changed my rear door wiring looms when retro fitting rear electric windows.

you need to remove the B pillar interior trim panels
