upgrade

Featured Replies

 well we have upgraded  from a superb 11 to a 111 and   a sportline  1.5 TSi  petrol  a 2019   Superb ,  DSG . 19" wheels.

my wife noticed the two cylinders notification on the test drive when we bought the car, but we have not seen it since

now

after a few weeks driving.

it has the sunroof and it is quieter than the diesel we had and also has the creaks and groans of the headlining. evrything else seems as good if not better .

not sure if i miss the torque of the diesel or not or the economy.  once I get my head round the electronics (my wife drives it more than me and loves that side of it)

one thing I have noticed

the rear hatch struts seem weak .

should the hatch lift when you click the handle . It seems as if you have to physically lift the hatch. it does stay up, but doe not require much force to close it and it does seem the thump ! down.

I could go to the showroom and look at a new one to see , but thought I would ask here 1st. if its a known problem I will replace them.

we have come from the twin rear boot and hatch  option, to just a hatch which had much better operation/rams. the later models are electric I see .
