MK IV FL - Anyone ordered yet?

Featured Replies

I'm looking but I think I'll wait a few weeks as the standard and option list doesn't look right in the brochure. First Edition has all the fancy stuff but SE Tech and SE L seem a little light.

If you have ordered, any idea on delivery time?

Hi my employer just ordered me the SE-L and has initially been told September, but we will see.

Still awaiting delivery. Apparently they're not sure where it is as coming from another dealer.

MOT expires on the 25th so if not delivered by then will be after a loaner until it is ready,

Finally picked it up on Saturday. Turns out the original one I was getting had the 48v battery go dead at another dealer so a new car was obtained.

Slowly getting it set up and used to it. Dashcam going in this week, weather permitting. Does feel more refined at motorway speeds than my MK3.

Had mine a couple of weeks now, I’m loving it. Still not found the time to sit and get it all setup, I love the automatic mild hybrid.

Ordered my 1.5 TSI e-tec 150 PS DSG with a few extras beginning of August was quoted approx 15 weeks as it is a factory order. No news yet on delivery

One thing to be be aware of.

If you have any work done, extras added etc and need to code. OBDEleven and CVDS don't work with much. The FL uses SFD2 and at the time of writing, there is no support in either too,

Had dashcam wired in and the switch for disabling the passenger airbag was disconnected. It took a trip to the dealer to get cleared, Luckily it was done while-I-wait. and took 10 minuters.

The latest beta of VCDS can now scan SFD2 modules for fault codes - one 'feature' of SFD2 over SFD is that even scanning for fault codes is locked without a workaround!
