Go to settings and click wlan and set up a network, you can use your phone as a hotspot but might need to manually add the settings.

Following Skoda Digital advice I performed a factory reset on my vehicle and tried again and got instant connectivity. The app is now up and running.

  • 1 year later...

Under the impression that Downloading MySkoda app, pairing the phone and logging on as main driver the promised land would beckon, preloading a journey, updating maps, vehicle status car location in a car park, I got sweet FA, all services appear to have a cost linked to them and that is a mega off-put, am I missing something ?

How old is your car, if new Skoda connect service is free for 3 years. If older the it does incur a cost.

2023 model, looks like the app is useless then

Currently with a new car purchase the app is "free" for 3 years after that you have to pay for some of the stuff. I think the free period is limited to the first owner.
