Forgive me if this is a stupid question…

 

I have a new iPhone and I don’t want to ruin the battery by charging it every time I plug it into my car via usb to use maps/ Spotify etc.

 

…is there a way to play Spotify or use google maps (with image not just audio) via Bluetooth or can this only be done via a wired/ usb connection.

 

i have connected the Bluetooth and can see I can make calls or play audible but I’d like to use maps and Spotify the same way.

i have a 2019 Skoda scala

I have not been able to use maps from my iPhone via Bluetooth on my SE. Personally I wouldn’t worry about overcharging the iPhone via the car. The car only supplies power, the iPhone regulates the charging so it should not overcharge.
