What is the difference between VW AdBlue G052910A4 and G052910M4?

Featured Replies

Hello Fellas,

Can someone share the difference between both AdBlues which VW/Skoda dealers sell - G052910A4 and G052910M4?

They both are in 10L bottles and meet the ISO 22241-1 standard as required.

Dealers say they are the same, but if that's true why there are two different part numbers?

Thanks!

The Germans love their own numbers and specifications, then they change their minds and/or have to update things, like their engine oil numbers 5** **, and their coolant numbers - G11, G12, G12+, G12++, G13 and then guess what    .   .   .  G14?, G13+?

no, G12evo ! 🫠

You can do your own research, wait for more replies, contact VW, see below and accept it or find the reason and report it back here.

Good luck.

"Brand new Genuine Audi/SEAT/Skoda/VW Adblue.

This is a (10L) 10 Litre Container

Part Number: G052910M4

Replaces G052910A4"https://www.coxmotorparts.co.uk/seat-shop/genuine-seat-adblue-diesel-exhaust-fluid-10-litres/

AdBlue is AdBlue and there is no difference in brands.   Who it comes from and what numbers VW give it matters not a bit.

(The German Automotive Industry Association owns and licences the AdBlue brand.)

At least I know that G052910M4 is the most recent one.
