2024 kodiaq mk1 and poor phone call quality

Featured Replies

Driving a 2024 Kodiaq and I'm already getting regular complaints about the audio quality when I make phone and teams calls. My phone is an iphone 12 and I use wireless carplay Problem seems inconsistent but it does happen with some regularity.

Since picking up the car late may it's already received two OTA software updates. My 2019 Octavia I hardly ever got complaints.

I'm wondering if I should switch to wired carplay and if so, how?

I have the same year Sportline, I use my iPhone SE via Bluetooth and have no problems at all (except the lousy phone signal in some places round here! )

The phone is still connected directly to the car`s bluetooth and Carplay / AA has nothing to do with it. Faulty microphone?

Did some testing. I sound worse than on a Volvo carkit. Sounded like really low bitrate audio but the mic had little issue with me moving my head around

Never had an issue with phone quality.   The radio on the other hand is hopeless......
