Parking sensors for MK3 Superb.

Featured Replies

Afternoon.

I just purchased a Skoda Superb Mk3 and love the car but, it doesn’t have parking sensors, cruise control or a reverse camera.

I know parking sensors can be installed but do they work with the original radio or will it be a small light strip?

any recommendations on where to get this installed? I live in Berkshire.

also wondering if cruise control is an option as I know my late wife had CC installed retrospectively to her Ford Focus.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, welcome to the forum.

Try flagging @ApertureS for this query, I'm pretty sure the retro-fitted parking sensors will operate through the existing infotainment system.

Thanks.
sent a PM.

If your budget can support it, recommend considering ACC instead of standard cruise.

Can that be added in?
was assuming it would be some standard aftermarket kit.

For ACC, I believe it can - from my understanding, it involves replacing the left-hand stalk and an adaptation made to the control module. I'm sure Aperture will be able to confirm.

...and a radar which requires a particular front grille (with radar cover).

Then the associated wiring and control module.

I was under the impression that the front assist radar is already fitted as standard, I thought this became mandatory sometime before MY16 model.
