Turbo

Featured Replies

Hi, my car is 2020, full dealership service history and 37000 miles, the car went into limp mode and on taking to the dealership they have discovered that the turbo was faulty and that a chunk of metal had came off it inside. Has anyone any knowledge of this happening before as dealer said he hadn’t heard of it happening to a diesel and he’s been there for 10yrs. Skoda have offered to pay goodwill of £1200 of a £3500 bill which I think is fairly tight-any advice

I assume the dashboard lit up? Interesting to know what codes you got though when the Turbo packed up?

Take it to an independent for a better price.

The coil light started flashing and the engine management light went on, that’s only lights that where on, not sure of the error codes that where generated
