Bolero SD capacity/software update

Featured Replies

Hi All, My 2013 Yeti has the Bolero head unit 1Z0035156M, HW 002, SW 0011, I've been trying to use a 128Gb SD card to hold my music collection but it refuses to read it, in any format (exFAT or NTFS), which I assume is a limitation of the software but I haven't been able to find a definitive answer to what the maximum acceptable size is and whether that can be increased by updating the software. Reading around appears to show a later software release 0061 but does it make any difference and how do I get it and install it please?

How is your music arranged on the card?

Did you use smallest allocation size when formatting?

It's only in two folder levels, artist and album

It appears your card's capacity is too large.

When creating cards for family members  I always create one folder and  Name it "Mymusic". Then put the folders of "artistname" or "album name" in that folder. I then put one Loose track in the "mymusic" folder.

This way you can start any folder individually or use Shuffle on any named folder, or play the loose track and press shuffle to randomly play the whole card.
