Mine is due for backend of October delivery, so fingers crossed it doesn’t suffer the same fate.

It would be impossible for Skoda to provide a replacement as I use custom made hand controls.

Had mine about 5 weeks now and it's great. Had aftermarket towbar fitted and that's great too.

What did the towbar fitter do to properly code-in the aftermarket towbar? Skoda hasn’t yet released the ECU access required to properly code any aftermarket towbars…

It's not fully coded yet. They did inform me of this before they started.

The only problem it causes is the reversing sensors are not isolated if reversing whilst towing. I try to avoid reversing whilst towing anyway.

Can you turn off the sensors with the P button, like on the Mk1?

Not sure of the button but yes, they are easy to turn off.
