Main user Create problem

Featured Replies

I hope someone here can help me. I have a problem with my Skoda OCTAVIA 4. I'm trying to log in as the main user, but it just won't work. Here is the process I have done so far:

1. created a Skoda ID.

2. added the vehicle by VIN.

3. the car was also recognised correctly.

Nevertheless, I can't get any further in the car. I have both keys in the car, as described, but nothing happens. The screen only shows "Please wait...".

Has anyone had similar experiences or knows what the problem could be? Is there perhaps another trick that I have overlooked?

Thank you for your help!

You should get a prompt to press the unlock button on each of the keys, has it displayed that message?

I would say to try a new user and delete this one, but please try after the app is working again, for the moment it is not working, maybe server issue, or BlueScreen :)

I have now tried everything to create a new account, always the same problem. It always says please wait, is there another solution a.

I'm sure I had a similar issue when I got mine and I connected the car to my home WIFI and then it worked fine.

When I use my iPhone as a hotspot (5G), it doesn't work either.

I haven't seen this issue before, I'm on my second Octavia and both of them worked without a problem for me. Have you tried a re-boot on the system, i.e. a long hold on the power button until it re-sets?

Adding car to home WiFi did the trick for me.
