Hi guys I have a Fabia Mk2 2013 manual with approximately 110.000km. I started having a problem shifting from 1st to 2nd gear (supposedly only occuring after driving for a while but not for the first 10-20min where it works perfectly). Basically the gear doesn't fully engage when I lift the clutch after shifting from 1st to 2nd and there is a slipping/grinding noise. I replaced the clutch with a new one thinking it will solve the issue but still no improvement.

Don't know if it is related but the clutch biting point is quite low.

I would expect the biting point to be low with a brand new clutch, that's normal.

 

Have you checked the gearbox oil level?

Didn't check but isn't it supposed to be replaced when replacing the clutch?
