New Becruz wheels on the VRS

Featured Replies

Since acquiring my VRS 10 months ago I've tried to grow fond of the standard Altair Alloys but in the end they just did not appeal.  I wanted to keep same specification of wheel i.e 19 inch / 7.5 inch width and ET48 and spotted the Becruz wheel on a recent Skoda Publication . This wheel is listed as identical spec. as the Altair (even same weight)  and although I appreciate it's  personal taste , I think they really suit the VRS .

I agree, it's all a matter of taste. Not wishing to upset VRS owners I've never passed comment on this before, but IMPO the Altair wheels are the ugliest things. I think those Becruz are much more stylish and less likely to date. They appear to be in the same genre as the Perseus Anthracite which I really like on my Octavia Style.

They're nice wheels and give it a clean look, but for me it softens it a bit too much for a VRS.

As above though, it's a matter of taste and hats off to you modifying your car to your taste, with a decent product.

Yes, each to their own and as long as you like them that’s the main thing. But for me it just looks like a bog standard Octavia now rather than a VRS.

Still on the personal taste theme, the psychology is quite interesting. If I were the OP I'd be tempted to remove the vRS badge too 😜 . But I respect that the OP isn't me!

In my younger days I went to considerable lengths to transform my performance cars into innocent looking 'sleepers', way more fun and it surprises more people than advertising what you're driving! Became quite a cult thing at one time, I suspect it still is...

Looks much better from that angle, now I see why you like them👍🏻

Very classy. Similar to the current E class Mercedes wheels, so you're in good company.
