Fabia scout 2011

Featured Replies

Looking at buying a fabia scout 2011 registered, 38k miles, i have read about a few issues with timing chains.

should i steer clear or reliable as any skoda?

I thought the Scout came with the 1.2 TSI or the 1.6 TDI?

Yeah it’s the 1.2 tsi

It has either got on ok for 13 years or had the timing chain and tensioner upgrade already.

So you decide if the car runs good and if you want it and then want to get the later upgrade the price that into the equation.

All I'll say is that 38k is too few miles, DO NOT pay a premium for low mileage, history and condition are FAR more important!
