Rear screen wash repair

Featured Replies

All! I've suffered not having a rear screen wash for over two years now and despite working on many cars I over that period, rarely get looking at the many issues on my 10 year old, 140k mile Rapid Space back!

The fix was simple with the correct tools.

First, pop off the rear high level brake light with non scratch tools. Be brave, it is held in with sprung steel clips.

Next, remove the white clip that holds the pipe to the nozzle:

Lastly, get a small pipe cleaner tool pushed down the nozzle which should unblock it. A load of black gunge exited mine.

Loosely refit and test, then push the unit back once happy with the operation.

Job jobbed!
